We understand that everyone needs a break every now and then and our exceptional respite care provides carers with a short-term rest from their caring responsibilities. It could vary from a few days, weeks day or night support. Our respite care provides you or your carers with the opportunity for a temporary rest from your caring duties and responsibilities, whilst your loved one continues to receive the care they need in the comfort of their safe home environment. Using our respite care services will support and strengthen your ability to be a full-time carer, relieving stress, renewing your energy, and restoring a sense of balance to your life. Supporting you with respite care will ensure that you can take time to look after your health and well-being or that of your carer which can often be placed in jeopardy as a result of the stressful circumstances and demands faced with the caring responsibilities. Our respite care provides carers with the opportunity for a temporary rest from their caring duties and it is designed to do just that, whilst their loved one continues to receive the care they need in a safe, caring and professional environment.

Our respite service is geared towards supporting and relieving those who may have full-time caring responsibilities in order that you may have a much needed break, or a day off to attend other commitments, appointments or if you are planning a break. We always recommend that our matched carer has phased short sessions with you to give you the chance to see how they are getting on with your loved ones prior to commencing longer sessions. We provide respite care for adults with a variety of needs including caring for those with dementia, physical or mental disabilities or those with short or long-term illness. Our respite care services will replicate the care you already provide for your loved one to ensure continuity of care. This can include providing personal care such as help with shopping, cooking, bathing, toileting, preparing food, feeding, dressing, eating, companionship, social interaction, exercise, shopping, laundry, cleaning and any other errands which you may require.
